Server blackout

For days my site was offline because data should be migrated to a more up-to-date cloud based server environment. Now a feature had been implemented that might be important not only for visitors.

During the move not everything worked out. Because of a faulty name resolution nico-beuermann.de was not reachable pretty long. Sorry about that.

Just before the move a comment came in on the topic iCloud/TB integration which got lost unfortunatly..

Obvious difference is the scrambled https protocol to serve the site. This not only strengthens trust of users in this site but helps to rank higher in search engine results. The higher a site is ranked the more likely someone visits this website. That's in my personal interest.

Let's see how availability develops. Old servers nearly reached 100%. That's hard to top.
